I am NOT a cook

Let me repeat that, I am NOT a cook. That doesn't mean I don't cook, or that we don't have meals every night as a family, we do, but they are usually very simple. So when I see a recipe and it has a million ingredients I usually say forget it. For a while now I have been wanting to make lettuce wraps (like PF Chang's), but the recipes always call for SO many ingredients, most of which I do not like. So last night I took the plunge and only used the lettuce, chicken, premade store bought sauce, bean sprouts and carrots and voila!!! It was tasty too! I think it may be healthier as well, at least that is what I am hoping!

Didn't use a recipe (which is why I could make it), I just cubed some chicken breast and cooked it in a pan. Toward the end I added cut up carrots, with bean sprouts and Yoshida's sauce. Put it in the lettuce cups and Voila! So easy and tasty!!! To make it less calories you could probably omit the sauce and use some other herbs and spices, but I am not good at that. I just try to use the sauce sparingly which is why you add it toward the end so it doesn't cook into the chicken too much.
